1) Folkestone in June
As part of a Social Value Initiative and to support our Climate Action Plan, KFRS arranged a litter-pick event in conjunction with Folkestone and Hythe Council and supply chain partners, Suez. 15 colleagues from KFRS and Suez attended, and the litter was taken away from site, free of charge, by Suez.

2) Shorne Woods in October
In partnership with Kent County Council, 13 colleagues from across KFRS, and their families attended Shorne Country Park during October half-term week and collected litter. These events are a great opportunity to get out of the office, work alongside teams we don’t always get to work with and give back to the local area.
